Three sizes of self adhesive cable tie mountings are currently produced in both natural and black nylon 6.6. Two mountings are assembled on a backing strip, which makes the removal of the mountings from the strip far easier to achieve. Fifty such pairs of mountings are packed into each bag.

Nylon 6.6 is noted for its toughness, electrical insulation properties and chemical resistance. Our black mountings are resistant to U. V. radiation and are therefore suitable for exposure to sunlight and external conditions.

The adhesive consists of a white polyethylene foam, coated on both sides with a high performance synthetic rubber adhesive, providing a particularly high level of instant tack combined with high shear adhesion.

The mounting will withstand continuous temperatures of -20C to +60C. They can also be supplied with acrylic adhesive, where they will serve in continuous temperatures from -40C to +80C, making them suitable for automotive applications.
